"K-9 Crunchfest" is an all breed/all age
Working Dog event that has been designed to show a true picture of how far along the handler/dog team is in thier
training as far as Personal Protection goes. We understand that any Working Dog "Event" can
be construed as "Sport" becuase there is scoring involved, but we have worked hard to make
this "EVENT" a very Personal Protection oriented one.
Many aspects of a dog's abilities
will be "tested" throughout the events of the day. "K-9 Crunchfest" is open to dogs of all breeds, ages, and
levels of training.
By participating in these events, the handler
will get a good idea of where there dog is at in his Personal Protection training.
The scenarios in the ProtectionTournaments
were designed to test various aspects of P/P Dogs. The scenarios will be witheld (until the day of the event) from the participants.
The order picked for the scenarios will
affect different dogs in different ways, depending on the dog’s temperament and it's level/style of training. The scenario
order has been carefully thought about and has been pre-arranged to expose common control issues that come about in the training
of a Personal Protection Dog.
Raffle for prizes will be held, as well
as a 50/50 raffle.
Food and refreshments will be available
on site, as well as, "port-a-pottie" facilites.

Handlers are responsible
for providing all of their own
leashes, agitation collars,
and agitation harnesses (if desired for certain events) We reserve the right to inspect all equipment to make sure it fits the dog and is in
safe working condition.
Handler/dog teams that
cannot provide suitable
equipment for themselves in any event will be excused from said event.
Leashes and collars should be
made of leather, or comparable synthetic materials.
We will have vendors on the premises, please check with them
before you scratch yourself
from competition.
Handlers
and specatators will be responsible for the conduct of their dogs at all times.
All dogs must be crated or on-leash at all times unless they are in the
Working Arena, competing.
We will be empoying a Dual Arena Setup to help expedite the show, this
should ensure the show is performed in a timely fashion.
